Want
to host your own Ladies Tea?
Congratulations! This
will be a valuable experience
for you and your guests. You
are at the heart of a special
group of ladies who will welcome
the opportunity that you are
creating for them.
STEP 1: INVITATIONS TO THE LADIES
TEA
How
Many? Invite 6-12 Tea
Ladies of your choice. The goal
is to keep the group small enough
to give everyone a chance to
contribute, and big enough to
ensure that the conversation
flows. Everyone should be able
to fit comfortably around your
table.
Who?
Inviting engaging, classy, and
interesting ladies will make
up the unique Ladies Tea dynamic.
This is a subjective judgment
call for a hostess to make–
chances are, you probably already
know some wonderful women who
would benefit from and enjoy
The Ladies Tea. Great Tea Ladies
do not have to be overly extroverted,
but silence is not the ultimate
goal! Try not to just invite
your close friends. This is
a chance to expand your circle.
When extending the invitation
to your tea, you can always
point a new Tea Lady to this
website to explain the concept.
When?
Invite your guests at least
2 weeks ahead of time and ask
them to RSVP within a few days.
This gives you enough time to
ensure that enough Tea Ladies
can attend. A Sunday afternoon
is typically a good day to host
The Ladies Tea and a wonderful
way to finish a weekend. Determine
a starting, and an ending time
for the tea.
How
Should I Format the Invitation?
Not to worry! We have this covered.
You can click
on the PDF below for
invitations that can be printed
at home. If you do not have
a printer, you can simply write
an email to your ladies with
the details of your Ladies Tea
(type of Ladies Tea– social,
speaker, or themed– date,
time, location, and a request
for an RSVP). It is a good idea
to provide a link in your email
to this website, to give the
ladies an idea of what to expect!
